IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the return of its annual ‘Stay for Good’ campaign across Australia and New Zealand this month in support of OzHarvest and KiwiHarvest.
Throughout Sep, IHG will donate $1 from every night stayed on new and existing direct bookings across its 59 participating properties in Australia and NZ.
Each dollar donated can provide two meals to people in need, while also helping divert 1kg of food waste from landfill.
“Surpassing one million meals with OzHarvest this year was an important milestone for our partnership and a testament to what our hotels, colleagues and guests can achieve together,” IHG Hotels & Resorts MD Australasia & Pacific Matt Tripolone said.
“‘Stay for Good’ gives our hotel network another opportunity to
build on that impact.” The initiative is part of IHG’s wider, year-round partnership with OzHarvest & KiwiHarvest.
