APT Luxury Travel is marking its centenary with a one-off journey. The 100 Day World Tour will transport guests on a special itinerary, encompassing Australia, Europe, South-East Asia, North America and New Zealand, packing in flights, cruising and touring for an epic experience you won’t want to miss.
The 100 Day World Tour is a once-in-a-lifetime itinerary created to mark APT’s centenary year in 2027. It is a statement of everything the brand has built: a legacy of expertise, an unwavering commitment to quality and an enduring passion for travel that has defined APT for almost a century.
From its origins as an Australian coach touring company, APT has grown into a global leader in luxury travel and the 100 Day World Tour brings that evolution to life.
The all-inclusive journey departs Melbourne on 19 July 2027 and returns to Melbourne on 27 October 2027, placing guests at the heart of APT’s centenary celebrations.
Spanning 100 days and some of the world’s most extraordinary destinations, guests can sit back and immerse themselves in everything APT does best: expert guidance, seamless luxury, and experiences they will never forget.
Inside the 100 Day World Tour
Guests embark on the journey in Melbourne before heading to the Kimberley for one of APT’s most celebrated wilderness experiences. The journey continues to Europe cruising along famed rivers from Budapest to Amsterdam, and along the Douro River in Portugal, then west to North America for an iconic Rockies adventure.
From there, guests travel to South-East Asia for an unforgettable Mekong River cruise, then on to New Zealand’s South Island and finally back to Australia for a Murray River experience before concluding in Melbourne.
Travellers booking the 100-day tour can look forward to receiving special inclusions and surprises created for this incredible journey.
APT Travel Group CEO David Cox said the company wanted to create something truly one of a kind to celebrate the centenary: “a journey that showcases the very best of what APT has been delivering for almost 100 years”.
“The 100 Day World Tour is APT at its best: the Kimberley, the European rivers, the Mekong, the Rockies, New Zealand, the Murray, all in one seamless experience. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience everything APT is, and it’s only possible because of the legacy we’ve built over the past century,” he said.
Guests on the 100 Day World Tour will experience an extraordinary journey that will never be repeated.
“A trip like this has never been done before, and that’s exactly the point. It carries real meaning. A celebration of 100 years of pioneering travel, brought to life across 100 extraordinary days. Guests who join us can expect surprises along the way, special guest hosts and exclusive souvenirs,” Cox said.
“This is as much about the future as it is the past. APT enters its centenary year having made the most significant investment in new product in its history: new ships, new destinations and a business that has never been better placed for growth.
“For 100 years, APT has led the way by doing things others hadn’t thought to do. That doesn’t change now. What drives us is giving our guests experiences they won’t find anywhere else: every detail taken care of, with nothing left to chance.
“The 100 Day World Tour is the fullest expression of that. That’s what all-inclusive means to us, that’s what our guests trust us to deliver, and that’s what the next hundred years will be built on,” he said.
